Jung Woo Sung Back to Giordano for 2011 Ad Campaign and First Teasers Released Along with So Ji Sub and Shin Mina

My I Lub You is back endorsing Giordano! It’s been years since he was their spokesperson (back in 2004 with Jeon Ji Hyun, which I’ll link to the CF after the jump as well, said CF being so hot it was apparently banned in Korea). A slew of super A-list stars have done Giordano ads since then (Jang Dong Gun, Lee Jun Ki, Lee Hyo Ri, to name a few). 2010’s Giordano spokescouple was So Ji Sub and Shin Mina, and both are still on this 2011 ad campaign, now with the addition of Jung Woo Sung to spice up the relationship.

I’ve asked @daheefanel and @hjkomo about what is happening in the teaser CF just released, and the general consensus is that So Ji Sub likes Shin Mina, who likes Jung Woo Sung, who is So Ji Sub’s hyung. Hhhhhmm, looks like a potentially sticky situation. Nothing some new Giordano chinos and a polo shirt can’t fix! Right? My fave comment from the video I read somewhere – “I don’t know what this has anything to do with clothes, but it’s hot as hell”. Heh, true dat.

There is just something so irresistably appealing about watching truly sexy men acting in a scene together. So Ji Sub and Jung Woo Sung just have “it”, which comes with experience, age, and a certain je ne sais quoi about their own sex appeal. Watching Athena has been a truly painful put-my-brain-through-the-grinder experience, but the eye candy cannot be denied. Cha Seung Won and Jung Woo Sung eat up the screen, even when doing the stupidest of things. I’m just happy I have CFs to watch my honey anytime I want.

I only started liking Jung Woo Sung after watching The Good, The Bad, The Weird. I have been trying to pinpoint what it is I like about him. I knew he reminded me of some old Hollywood actor, and now, I think I have it … Ray Milland.

oooh the men are certainly hot……i think im more taken by Shin Minah though…i’ve been in love with this actress for the past few days since I’ve seen Sisters on the Road.

heart of the remake of The Killer 3D in talks of casting your IlubU?

    • ockoala says:

I read about that earlier this week. Am cautiously optimistic.

I worry they are going to stick Jeon Ji Hyun in (making it Daisy II) or Zhang Ziyi in (making it Musa II).

For some reason I want them to cast a newbie actress that will blow my mind. Kinda like Tang Wei’s debut in Lust, Caution.

      • mookie says:

T’is not gonna happen. Woo is no AngLee, he’s NEVER ever casted any strong female actress (nor portrayed any woman worthy of any amount of acting)

        *is bitter*

I want some good acting, damnit!

I much prefer the newer add. I honestly find it more compelling and attractive, and sexier, than the blatantly sexual older one. That one…is just kinda painful to watch. Plus, Jung Woo-sung is barely in it.

I don’t know what it is about JWS. I am a lesbian — and find all the drooling and blog commenting on all the pretty Asian boys by k-drama fans, who are 99.99999% female, hiLARious — but I could watch him all day. He is an incredible actor. Those eyes. So even though the plot of Athena stinks I watch it, for him. And that Su Ae chick. Oh yes I do. 😀

    Dear Ockoala
Thanks for picture of So Ji Sub and Shin Min Ah. Lurve both of them…
